URUGUAYAN NATIONAL SURFING CHAMPIONSHIPS 2011

Team selection process for next ISA World Masters Championships.

The Rip Curl Pro was held at the waves of El Emir, Punta del Este, and kicked off the 2011 National Surfing Tour in great style with consistent 2 to 4 foot waves in a three-day competition.

The event had over 100 surfers amongst the 13 divisions.

Uruguay Places 13th at the Panama ISA World Masters Surfing Championship
Uruguay had a great debut at the Panama ISA World Masters Surfing Championship by placing 13th on the overall team standings. Juan Aroztegui, Masters division competitor, had the best individual performance by placing 15th on the Masters division.
