2003 ISA / FOSTERS WORLD MASTERS SURF TITLES - New Plymouth, New Zealand
The ISA / Fosters World Masters Surf Titles finals were surfed at Fitzroy beach in clean 1 meter waves. A large crowd jammed the car-park and lined the beach to witness the 1st international surf contest to grace the shores of New Plymouth. The members of the New Plymouth Surfriders Club were proud hosts for this outstanding event that has developed a keen following and a definite future.
A Club Challenge as well as a Corporate Challenge were run during the 2003 Masters event. Any Club that was registered with their domestic controlling association were eligible to enter a Team. The Teams consisted of 5 members.
