Panama ISA World Masters Surfing Championship: Objective Accomplished

The Argentinean team was seventh in the Panama ISA World Masters Surfing Championship and met the expected objective for this championship: repeating the ISA ranking position obtained in the 2008 event.

Objetivo cumplido en el mundial Masters
El equipo argentino de surf finalizó en el séptimo puesto del WORLD MASTERS SURFING CHAMPIONSHIP y cumplió el objetivo previsto para este campeonato de mantener la ubicación del ranking ISA obtenida en el mundial de 2008.
Con 21 países en competencia, cuatro más que los que participaron en el mundial anterior, los integrantes del equipo nacional se mostraron satisfechos con el séptimo puesto obtenido en Santa Catalina, Panamá. "El nivel que vimos en este mundial fue muy superior al de 2008. Se nota que cada país vino a competir y no sólo a participar de este evento increíble. Hubo más países y más equipo completos con staff técnico y trabajo de preparación previo. Para nosotros mantener el séptimo puesto y del modo en que esto se logró, es motivo de orgullo" señaló el Coach Roberto G. Niesl momentos antes de emprender el regreso a Mar del Plata, Argentina.

Argentinian masters line up for 2008 ISA world masters event in Peru
TEAM ARGENTINA IS READY FOR THEIR WORLD MASTERS DEBUT
For the first time in history a full Argentinean team will compete for the ISA World Masters Surfing Championship Gold Medal.
After holding three team trials in order to select the Argentinean Masters Team, the Southern American nation decided the surfers that will participate. The light blue and white team will participate in the ISA World Masters Surfing Championship to be held in the perfect Peruvian Punta Rocas’ waves from March 29 until April 5.
